HATS is located in Deschappelles which is almost in the geographical center of Haiti. It is 130 Kms. from the capital and main airport in Port au Prince. It is between St. Marc on the gulf of Gonâve and approximately 100 Kms from the border with the Dominican Republic. The compound is surrounded by rolling hills, rice fields and faces the canal from the hydro dam.

The next violet building is the girls’ dorm.
The big green (Tempting Teal) and white building is mission control. The downstairs has 2 offices and kitchen and the living quarters for Karen and Ti Luc.
The second floor is the HATS HILTON and the third floor is an observation deck.

When Keith, the writer of the blog, says "he and Jonathan just hung out' please know it means Jonathan hung out on the swing awhile. Keith does not 'hang out'. He keeps going, going, going like the energizer batteries. All of us here are very thankful for all he is accomplishing.
I don't think there is much hanging out for you Keith! I know there would be a good photo of it if you did!
I love this blog, you did a wonderful job of showing the compound and the outside! If I had never been before I would be wanting to go! Keep up the good job of bloging along with everything else you do!
Who ever took pictures of the compound did a better job than I did with mine. If you have them in larger size, I'd like to have them emailed to me, so they show up larger on my screen saver photo show that I have set up on my computer. Great blog, great job.
